I'm from Gallatin, Missouri, a small town in the northwest part of the state. I'm a junior journalism major emphasizing in strategic communication at the University of Missouri. I love playing and watching sports. Basketball is definitely my favorite though.

 

I've had a basketball in my hands ever since I could walk. My dad has been a basketball coach for 27 years, and when I was little we would watch Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls on TV. Some of my first words were the names of all the Chicago Bulls players.

 

I am a huge fan of Kansas City sports teams. I have always cheered for the Chiefs and the Royals, and that's never going to change. I like to hunt and fish, but I wish that I had more time to spend on that.

 

I'm also a huge gamer. The Nintendo consoles are my favorites. If the game has Mario in it, then I'm probably going to like it. I got into Pokemon Go during the summer, but now I'm invested in my fantasy football and basketball teams.

 

Now that I've graduated, I want to go into a career in account services. I would like to work on accounts that fit my interests, and if I could work with companies in the sports and gaming industries, then I would feel that I have the perfect career.
